Momma's Don't Ever Give Up!

I know I'm not alone in sometimes feeling like I'm just an absolute failure when it comes to motherhood. The "I'm not crying, you're crying" mentality. The struggle is a hard reality ladies and it is exhausting. You feel like you are on the craziest roller coaster ride you have ever been on. You are constantly and consistently getting knocked down, only to have to get right back up. Let's face it...I'm no Christy Martin okay. Sometimes, getting back up takes all the strength I can muster. Now, did you know they have actually come up with a name for it? They call it Motherhood Imposter Syndrome. Mother's having feelings of doubt in their talents, skills, and accomplishments. Having a fear inside of you that at any moment you will be exposed as a fraud. Mother's tend to blame themselves instead of the situation and all of the immense pressure that's being put on them. I most certainly do not have all (or even many answers) to this age old dilemma, but I do have a few words of advice.

*You are doing a great job

*Your situation is not hopeless

*You are not alone

*You have got to have hope

*Let hope and peace do their work

*Everyone is NOT judging you and are more than likely secretly struggling themselves

*The Hero in the house is you!

Strong mommy's sometimes feel weak. Confident mommy's sometimes have doubt. Even the overzealous, energetic mommy's sometimes feel exhausted. The most patient mommy's lose their cool. The point is perfection doesn't exist. We are all just doing our best.

Lastly, you may feel insane, emotionally exhausted, and like you are going to just lose it...remember (as cheesy as it sounds) they picked you.

Just breathe. You've got this.
